The St. James Court Art Show is proudly a Juried Fine Arts Show.

What does that mean?

A juried art show is a competitive exhibition where a panel of expert judges (jurors) selects which artworks are included from a pool of artist submissions, ensuring only high-quality, original pieces meeting specific criteria (theme, technique, etc.) are displayed, offering artists recognition and validation. It’s a curated event, unlike open-entry shows where nearly anyone can exhibit, and often involves fees and applications.

What is Fine Art?

fine art [noun]

Example: objects of fine art
