We are now taking registration for Volunteers for the 2012 Art Show – October 5, 6 & 7, 2012. Please call the Art Show office at 502-635-1842 and ask for Bette Kennedy, Volunteer Manager. Or you can email kclayton@stjamescourtartshow.com for more information.
Volunteers will be needed for:
- Pre-show in September
- The 2 weeks before the Art Show (September 24-October 4)
- Art Show Weekend (October 5, 6 & 7)
Art Show Hours
- Thursday, October 4: (set-up only) 9am-6pm
- Friday, October 5: 10am-6pm
- Saturday, October 6: 10am-6pm
- Sunday, October 7: 10am-5pm
Attendance
We depend on your commitment to participate. Your presence and prompt arrival for your scheduled shifts are absolutely necessary. If your schedule must change, or if you have an emergency, please contact us immediately at the art show office 502-635-1842!
Parking
Every volunteer coming from outside Old Louisville will receive a free parking pass after attending a short orientation meeting. The parking pass, lot information, and directions can be picked up at one of the following volunteer orientation meetings. You must attend one of these meetings to receive a parking pass.
- Volunteer Cook Out and Orientation, Sunday, September 16 from 4:00 – 6:00
- Monday, September 17 from 5:00 -7:00pm.
T-Shirts
Volunteers will receive one free t-shirt to wear during the art show. When you sign up for an activity you will be asked your shirt size.
Training
No previous experience or special training is necessary to volunteer. There will be a short Volunteer Orientation meeting in September. Volunteers will receive more detailed instructions about particular jobs at that meeting. You may pick from one of the following volunteer orientation meetings.
- Volunteer Cook Out and Orientation, Sunday, September 16 from 4:00 – 6:00
- Monday, September 17 from 5:00 -7:00pm.
Weather
The St. James Court Art Show will be held rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for weather conditions and remember to wear sunscreen!
