Ranked the #1 Fine Art and Design Show in the country by Sunshine Artist Magazines “200 Best List”, September 2011, this autumn tradition draws 210,000 visitors who come to purchase unique handcrafted items directly from the hands that crafted them. Always held the first full weekend of October, the St James Court Art Show has been running continuously for 55 years.
There are six sections of the art show. Each section juries their own artists and applications are not shared. Artists may apply to any section(s). Once invited and a booth fee payment is made, the artist is then with that section for the current show year.
Our artists are important to us. We understand it is a big financial and time investment for artists to come to our show. We work hard all year long to make sure Louisville knows you are going to be here the 1st weekend of October. If you are an invited artist for the current show year, we encourage you to take advantage of a few ways to promote yourselves.
Invited Artist Opportunities for Exposure
Listed below are the six sections and important information about each of them. Please contact each section regarding questions pertaining to that specific section.
St James Court Application & Information
Application dates: December 1 – March 31, 2012. Applications are now OPEN for the 2012 Art Show.
Booth Prices: $500 Corners: $530
Application fee price: $30
Final Booth Fee Payment: July 15, 2012
Belgravia Court Application & Information
Application dates: November 1, 2011 – March 31, 2012. Applications are now OPEN for the 2012 Art Show
Booth Prices: $550
Application fee price: $30
Final Booth Fee Payment: Booth payment is due when the invitation to exhibit is accepted.
Fourth Street Association Application & Information
Application deadline: April 1, 2012
Booth Prices: $500 if mailed, $515 if paying online by credit card.
Application fee price: $25
Final Booth Fee Payment- New Artists: June 15
The 1300 Association Application & Information
Application dates: Applications will be accepted after February 1, 2012. Deadline for applications- Open until show is full.
Booth Prices: $500- $525
Application fee price: $25
Final Booth Fee Payment: Booth payment is due when the invitation to exhibit is accepted.
3rd Street Association Application & Information
Application dates: January 2 – April 15, 2012.
Booth Prices: $500
Application fee price: $30
Final Booth Fee Payment: Booth payment is due from returning artists April 1, 2012. Artists invited through the May jury will need to pay booth fee by June 15, 2012.
West End Baptist Church Application & Information
