Ranked the #2 Fine Art and Design Show in the country by Sunshine Artist Magazines “200 Best List”, September 2009, this autumn tradition draws 200,000 visitors who come to purchase unique handcrafted items directly from the hands that crafted them. Always held the first full weekend of October, the St James Court Art Show has been running continuously for 53 years.
There are six sections of the art show. Each section juries their own artists and applications are not shared. Artists may apply to any section(s). Once invited and a booth fee payment is made, the artist is then with that section for the current show year.
Our artists are important to us. We understand it is a big financial and time investment for artists to come to our show. We work hard all year long to make sure Louisville knows you are going to be here the 1st weekend of October. If you are an invited artist for the current show year, we encourage you to take advantage of a few ways to promote yourselves.
